Discover intelligent sensors

Frauscher will participate at this year’s InnoTrans in Berlin under the motto “Discover intelligent sensors – Innovations to simplify railway operations”. This year’s motto reflects the current developments of our company as well as the latest trends in the railway sector for innovative sensor solutions, which generate reliable data on track. As a result, Frauscher makes it simpler for system integrators and railway operators to obtain the information they need to run, monitor and protect their operational network.

InnoTrans in Berlin is the leading international exhibition for transport technology. This exhibition takes place every two years and opens its doors this year from 18 to 21 September. InnoTrans offers a perfect stage for over 2,900 exhibitors from 60 countries spread across the entire Berlin exhibition grounds. Within the Railway Technology sector, InnoTrans has established itself as an international industry platform.

Identify and use potential

Digitalisation opens up new possibilities to generate a wide range of highly valuable information. This also applies to systems in the fields of traffic and infrastructure management. Based on ongoing developments and the latest technology, it is possible to increase their efficiency. To use this potential is a huge challenge for the whole railway industry – but it is necessary for remaining an attractive mobility provider in the future.

Frauscher combines IoT concepts with proven best-in-class technology. The result: intelligent wayside sensors that deliver accurate data available to higher-level systems in digital form via a variety of interfaces. Continuous developments based on the latest technologies have raised track vacancy detection and condition based maintenance to the next level.

Reliable solutions for a wide variety of applications

At the Frauscher stand (hall 25, stand 232) we will have over 140 m² of space available to give you an insight into our product world. In addition to the new, intelligent sensor, we will present our proven, highly available wheel sensors in combination with innovative evaluation boards and the various functions of the Frauscher Advanced Counter FAdC.

News and trends from the industry

In 2018 Frauscher is participating at this leading exhibition for the eighth time. On more than 140 m², new product highlights as well as the latest developments in the fields of wheel detection and axle counting will be presented.

Christian Pucher, CMO Frauscher Sensor Technology, reflects on the participation in 2016: “We gained a lot of positive feedback for the package of updated design and fascinating technologies. The relaxed atmosphere at our stand created the opportunity for many professional discussions with visitors from international companies and innovation partners. The interest in our innovations exceeded all expectations. This kind of representation perfectly reflects our values and strengthens our position as a technology leader for signaling in the railway industry. With this positive memory I really look forward to InnoTrans 2018 – where we have several highlights for our customers and partners!”

Frauscher is looking forward to your visit at InnoTrans 2018: Stand 232 in hall 25!
