A 1980’s innovative start-up that has grown to a global technology leader with more than 350 employees – the foundation for this success story was laid in 1987 by Josef Frauscher, when he invented his first inductive wheel sensor for detecting railway train wheels. After only 18 months of construction time the Frauscher Innovation Centre has been opened at the company’s head office in St. Marienkirchen, Austria on 24 June 2016. The opening ceremony was attended by numerous representatives from politics and media, as well as by employees and guests.
